Summer time often brings a little loss in water pressure because people in the district are using more water. But if you find that your kitchen sink isn't flowing well, try checking for a clogged screen. Many faucets have a screen that can be unscrewed. These fine screens can catch bits of harmless sediment that get stirred up during system maintenance. Rinse out the screen thoroughly and replace it. You might see a big improvement!
Know Your Water Meter Location
Most water meters are located close to your property line on the street side, and the covers have been painted blue to make them recognizable. The Water Board wants you to be aware that parking a car on the meter cover or driving over it regularly, will damage the meter housing. This often requires an expensive repair. Please look out for your water meter and help protect it. Thanks!
